香港雅詠團於一九九九年二月成立，目的為滿足本地樂迷對小組合唱音樂的需求，並以演出清唱作品及小組合唱曲目為主。團員既能獨當一面，也能融合於小組合唱，因此團員均經過嚴格的選拔，以保證整體的水準，部分團員更是知名的出色獨唱家。香港雅詠團曾多次獲得香港藝術發展局及香港文康處贊助，在過去多年成功演出多場音樂會；其中包括舒次的《聖誕故事》、韓德爾的《亞歷山大之盛宴》、巴赫的《聖約翰受難曲》、《復活神》、《馬利亞尊主頌》及《Ｂ小調彌撤曲》，「聲樂巴洛克」、「文藝復興之聲」、韓德爾的田園劇《亞西斯與加拉蒂亞》、《聲藝薈萃 ─ 向香港作家曲家及歌唱家致敬》、佛瑞《安魂曲》海頓、摸莫札、《莊嚴晚禱》、特浦賽爾「頌歌」等演出。

The Hong Kong Chamber Choir was established in 1999 with a specific mission of promoting and performing demanding choral works for small size choir. We also believe that a good solo vocalist can be a good ensemble singer so the Choir places great emphasis on vocal (as individual) and choral (as chorister) technique. Consequently many members are also fine solo singers on their own right. In the past years HKCC had received regular sponsorship and support from both the HK Arts Development Council and Leisure and Cultural Services Department in many of its notable performances that include Handel's oratorio Alexander's Feast, Dixit Dominus, Chandos Anthem No 9, Masque Acis and Galatea & Semele, Schutz's Christmas Story, Charpentier's Te Deum & Messe de Minuit, Bach's Motet Jesu Meine Freude, Faure's Requiem, Voice of the Renaissance, Purcell's various Anthems, Vocal Delights Made in Hong Kong (selection of vocal compositions by Hong Kong composers). Recent Major events include Haydn's Creation, Mozart's Vesperae Solennes K339, Litaniae K195, Bach's Easter Oratorio, Magnificat in D, B minor Mass, St.John Passion & Cantata Nos. 21, 51 & 131.
