Chairman Dr. Sam Lau 劉森坪
劉森坪於德國攻讀醫科時開始習聲樂。他在慕尼黑音樂學院接受訓練，鑽研德國藝術歌曲及聖樂。曾多次舉行演唱會，亦擔任合唱團音樂會男高音獨唱。他曾在音樂會中演唱了最有名的聯篇歌曲，包括舒伯特的《美麗的磨坊少女》、舒曼的《詩人之戀》、《艾辛道夫歌曲集》等。他又經常在本地主要的神劇演出中擔任獨唱，近期的演出包括韓德爾的《彌賽亞》、孟德爾遜的《以利亞》、巴赫的《聖約翰受難曲》及《Ｂ小調彌撤曲》、舒曼的《安魂曲》、韓德爾的《亞西斯與加拉蒂亞》及海頓《創世紀》等等。
Sam Lau started voice study when he was a medical undergraduate in Germany. He was trained at the Munich Conservatoire specializing in the repertoire of Lieder and sacred music. Since returning to Hong Kong he has given regular recitals and appeared as soloist with many leading local choirs. Lau has performed many well-known Lieder song cycles such as Schubert's Schone Mullerin, Schumann's Dichterliebe and more. He also appeared frequently as soloists in many major local oratorio productions; the most recent ones being Handel's Messiah, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Schumann's Requiem, Bach's St John Passion, Mass in B Minor, Handel's Acis and Galatea and Haydn's Creation.
